Counting my blessings, one by one.  I am thankful for~

11 &12~ Friends that invite spur of the moment trips to the park, and that                         Boys + Dirt = Instant Fun

15~ Soap, water, and washing machines

18~ My grandmother coming to live nearby

20~ This counting of gratitude to pull me away from worries and stress

21~ Early bedtimes with extra stories

22~  Eating fresh fruit on an outdoor, warm sunny patio (in November!) with great friends.

28~ Smiles from my little boy

31~  Parents who go have lunch with my oldest at school for grandparents day…

36 & 39~ A husband who is handy & fixes plumbing problems, lights, and more.  Home warranty coverage that fixes what we can’t.

40~ EMERGENCY plumbing calls first thing Saturday morning that only cost $60.

45,47, & 50~ Worship service on gratitude, in a welcoming, friendly church, with a chance to step outside my comfort zone

55 & 56~  Mondays with no school and trips to the Lego Store with friends

67~ Boys with thankful hearts

75~ Hanging Christmas lights and greenery in shorts and flip flops

83 & 86~ Thanksgiving with family (and fried turkey!)

holy experience

This was something I am thankful for, your blog, that I read after reading state tax filing records. Thank you Shell, you are a bright spot in my dreary afternoon.

What GREAT things to be thankful for (other than plumbing problems). 😉

I love that I can picture so many of them first hand! xoxo

Thankful for you!

Lori, I think that is my all time favorite comment. Gift#122: You made MY day by stopping by to read and leave a comment. Thank you!!

SomeGirl, You know, I’m even thankful for the plumbing stuff (since it was fixed so quickly!) I loved going back and seeing our gratitude list from that messy day at the park. This 1000 gifts thing is a great mini diary of daily life. Gift #123: Thanks for giving me that bookmark from Ann Voskamp! Love ya!
