The Cure for a Foggy Mind…

I’m really blessed to be working on The Declare Conference this year, with an amazing team. Early Bird tickets go on sale Monday 2/25 (and just between us, they’re a steal!) The desire of the Declare team is to equip you to know God and Make Him known with your life and your blogging.

We desire to serve and bless bloggers in a BIG way.

Are you a blogger?
Are you considering joining us for The Declare Conference?
We have some Fabulous Speakers lined up!
Have you checked them out yet?

Life. Is. Complicated.

First graders have swim field trips in the middle of winter requiring all kinds of summer swim gear.

Fifth graders have picture day the first day back after a long weekend and lose their order forms.

Jobs are busy.
Houses are messy.

Husbands are tired.
Kids get sick.

  • Open house Thursday night…
  • Half marathon Sunday…
  • Fitness expo Friday…
  • Charity meeting Thursday night…

Two things both on Thursday night?!? Oh, shoot.

We all have crazy lives like this right?

Please tell me I’m not alone!

So much to keep track of,

     details clouding my brain,

           when I feel like I’m in a fog…

I’ve found the best cure

     to settle my soul

and focus my foggy brain is this:

Our Father,
Who is in heaven
Holy is your name.
Your kingdom come
Your will be done.
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our debts
as we forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For yours is the kingdom
And the power
And the glory

FOREVER.

Amen.

Try it next time you feel a little lost or overwhelmed…

Something to think about…

Thank you for this wonderful reminder! It is so easy to forget our focus and perspective when life gets hectic.
