Thinking and Doing

That free printable I posted last week?  It was tougher than I thought it would be to fill out.  In fact, I found myself wishing I’d not posted it, because then I wouldn’t have to actually fill it out.  Sigh. I’m glad I’ve got these accountability girls that have my back to make me stick to it.  😉  Especially the ‘ways I push my needs to the bottom of the list‘ side…  there were some eye openers there, and they weren’t particularly pleasant.  In the end I was glad I took the time to think through it.  If you don’t know what’s holding you back, you’ll never reach your goals, right?

This journey is going to be as much of a mental and emotional workout as it is a physical one.

It takes the whole person – mental, physical, spiritual – to do this life He gives us. Blessings to you as you take care of yourself and listen to Him. I have had forms laying on my couch for two weeks that need to be filled out so I can mentor a highschool student. I so get the whole not wanting to fill out forms about myself!

It is…it really is. Just when I think I’m an overcomer on the mental aspect of it, I come to realize it is a daily, continual battle for me. I cannot slack up or grow too comfortable. Else, I fall. Again. Great thoughts today, Michelle!
