Because we subconsciously think family might view us badly because we are disorganized. You are not alone in this. I, too, am trying to be realistic about what needs done and what should wait for another day. Fight the good fight, in other words, just do the necessary, they love you and aren’t going to judge you!

Lori,
You are so right. I always have this problem. It’s almost funny, because it’s usually stuff that no one but me would know was done. I try and laugh at myself and move on to what’s realistic…. But I am still fighting the urge to move the new dryer in from the garage TODAY. (It’s been there since August… I think it can wait a few more days, right? LOL.)

Love you, and love knowing I’m not alone in this! :)

Ah. You sound a LOT like me. I always take on ridiculous projects when I am already overloaded. Rest and enjoy your Thanksgiving, friend.

So glad to know I’m not alone!

I left the cabinets just as they were, and NO ONE knew. ;)

Hope your Thanksgiving was peaceful too.
