Thank you for all your comments and responses last week to Overwhelmed Isn’t a Four Letter Word. I was truly overwhelmed… in the best possible way by your encouragement and sisterhood. We are not in this alone, and I love how we can come together in our weakness. Thank you for taking the time to share your hearts and thoughts in the comments.
This week, I’ve had several scriptures on my heart.
God is really speaking to me with the verses below.
I’d love to ask you which verses have been floating around in your heads and hearts this week too. Would you leave a comment and let me know?
If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.James 1:5
Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39
God’s voice thunders…: “Be still (cease striving), and know that I AM God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46: 6,10
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2
Remain in me, and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. “I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. John 15:4-5
We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps. Proverbs 16:9

Hi Michelle,
My linked post really answers your question about what scripture’s been floating about in my head and heart lately. Thanks for sharing yours. They’re so important to remember—and so easy to forget! Blessings!
Wow! You have picked 5 verses that I often turn to for comfort & reassurance. Thanks for the great post & for hosting, & God bless!
Great verses!! I think Proverbs 16:9 about God directing our steps, and Loving God and others are the ones that are floating around the most right now for me. I really want my love for God to increase, because I know my love for people will increase too!
